Fuel Economy This EPA maintained website allows consumers to compare and search for cars by MPG. This is a great resource for anyone considering buying a new or used car.
Grist Non-profit environmental news source with podcasts, columns, and green living tips.
Local Harvest Local Harvest is an online community set up to connect consumers to the farms near them.
Natural Resources Defense Council NRDC's website on global warming has resources for both scientists and casual environmentalists. They also have extensive resources on related issues.
U.S. Green Building Council The USGBC has information about building low-energy buildings. They also provide information about LEED certifications and the process of getting a building certified.
