The Big Green Bus is a bright green school bus that has been
converted to run on waste vegetable oil. It is also home to
12 Dartmouth students who will spend their summer touring across
America. The Big Green Bus crew’s mission is to promote
and discuss sustainable living, the viability of alternative
fuels, and tangible solutions to local and global energy issues.
In previous years, the Bus has been nationally recognized and
featured in Newsweek, The Boston Globe, USA Todayand on Good
Morning America and MTV. This year’s tour, the fourth

another sustainable and educational summer.
